2006.04.03	The Executive Yuan of R.O.C. approved the second Board of Directors and Supervisors. Dr. R. Lai was named as the Chairman of the Board.
2006.02.01	President Lou-Chuang Lee was appointed as the President of the National Central University, and Dr. C. H. Chen, the Vice President, was named as acting president.
2005.12.09	The Board of Directors and Supervisors approved the establishment of Preparatory Office for the National Center for Ocean Research.
